i5Chart MII 14 MDO Filter Expression

HI Guys,

I am building a page  to display data from MDO object using a I5Chart of grid type.

I would like to set filter Expression of this MDO Select Query at runtime using JS.

I tried the methods described in MDO Query Methods - SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence - SAP Library

Some how the filter is not being set. and all the rows in MDO are displayed.
