For yur ques: To Replace the roles in a system even after the upgrade activity is completed,
This can also be done my exporting the user master records through tcode: scc8.
Choose profile as SAP_USER and select the target system also, after entering these details select "Start immediately" option and a pop will show the selected profiles, choose continue in tht screen.
Three Transport requests will get created as shown below:
"<SID>KO<XXXX>" for transporting cross-client data, if you have
selected this
"<SID>KT<XXXXX>" for transporting client-specific data
"<SID>KX<XXXXX>" for transporting client-specific texts, provided texts
are available in this client.
After your refresh import these Transport Reuquests nos into your target system and then run tcode scc7, system would have automatically choosed the exported Transport request(<SID>KT<XXXXX>) number, Confirm the TR and select Start immediately option.
