SAP PP & MFG certification job prospects

Hi All

I have around 7 yrs of experience in Production/Manufacting and hands on experience in SAP -PP.

But i havent done certification was thinking of doing it now.

i have few doubts if anyone can help

1) Is there any future with SAP -PP &MFG ie after certification you become a SAP concultant rather than production engineer. so what are the chances.

2) Very few centers are offering this certification so that means it looks not important or it may be scarce (both adv and disadv)

3) I know certifcations are expensive etc but is there a future say next 10-15 yrs
