Hi James,
Thanks for the reply. Yes i will lock all the users before we start with the downtime phase. But there is a problem in application server A1 and A2 that if you check in the dev_evt log, it states that
Thu Jul 10 10:17:44 2014
Trace File of External Event Raiser (Level=2, Append=0)
******* Complete Call: *******
sapevt.exe
SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP
-t
name=ZP1
pf=O:\usr\sap\ZP1\SYS\profile\DEFAULT.PFL
******* End of Call *******
EventID: SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP
*** ERROR ***: Cannot determine mshost
--------------------------------------------------------------
and CI dev_evt states that
Fri Jul 18 09:43:13 2014
Trace File of External Event Raiser (Level=0, Append=0)
******* Complete Call: *******
sapevt.exe
SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP
name=ZP1
******* End of Call *******
EventID: SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP
SAP message server host: ZP1CI
SAP message server service (new): 3900
SAP message server service (old): sapmsZP1
Event sent to server A1_ZP1_00
So is there any problem with it? or should i stop both A1 and A2 before start in downtime (uptime finished successfully)?
Regards,
Mohit
