Hi Aditya,
Did you import the excel sheet with "File -> Import -> SAP HANA Content -> Data from Local File"? If so, you can deselect the checkbox "Ingore leading and trailing white-space(s) in file" in order to let SAP HANA regard white space as white space instead of NULL.
