Automatic Grouping of all WBS Elements in a Project
"In the simplest case all the requirements from all the WBS elements in a project are grouped in one grouping WBS element. As a result a project stock segment is created for the whole project. Here you can use theAutomatic Requirements Grouping function.
You set the Auto rqmnts grouping indicator on the Control data tab page of the project definition or in the project profile. Only one grouping WBS element is permissible for all materials in the project. As a standard setting, the system proposes the first WBS element on level 1 as the grouping element, except if you are creating using a template and another default is proposed. You can reset the indicator for the WBS element in question and choose another WBS element to be the grouping element."
does anyone know how to reset the indicator of the WBS?
i tried resetting the indicator and saving, when i open the project, the indicator 1 is set again
i tried using GRM 4 to delete the assigned lower level WBS elements but encountered error message "
Deleting an automatically created assignement is not allowed"
