I tested the issue and duplicated it. Now, there is a note in the Supported Platforms re. Firefox and Chrome:
Now, when the note says "..Chrome is supported based on testing with earlier versions of Chrome...", I have not a clue what version of Chrome this would be. However, it would be a version that was released prior to June 14, 2013 (the date of the Supported Platforms doc).
We pinged the Program Manager for a comment re. future plan, etc.
